OPINION: There’s Too Much of It About, Someone Do Something

To avoid possible consequences and undesired outcomes, its time for someone to stand against the bad

OPINION  |  By Sandy Dithers

Selbyville, DE --

It’s time for action — real action — from whoever’s supposed to be doing that sort of thing. I don’t know who that is exactly, but they’d better hurry. There’s far too much of it around, and the longer everyone just stands there doing nothing, the worse it’s going to get.

I’m not saying it’s anyone’s fault. But I’m also not not saying that. What I am saying is that it’s gotten out of hand, and it’s time for somebody — anybody, really — to step up and do whatever needs to be done.

    > “The time for doing nothing has passed. Now is the time for doing… whatever it is that needs doing.” — Marla Pennington

We can’t just sit here scrolling and sighing anymore. It’s time for leadership, accountability, and other words that sound like they mean something. I’m calling on those responsible — whoever they may be — to take bold, immediate steps to fix this situation before it gets even more out of control, which, frankly, it already has.

I may not have all the answers, or any of the details, but one thing’s for certain: if nothing changes soon, we’ll all be worse off. So please — someone, anyone — do something.
